ASTARTA (Ukraine), Update 2

In 2012 ASTARTA started the implementation of biogas production project in Globyno, Poltava region. The main objective of this project is to increase usage of renewable energy in the production cycle, which is important in such energy consuming industry sector as sugar production. Project implementation will allow to reduce natural gas consumption by 46%, of water – by 10%, and the amount of greenhouse gases emissions – by about 15 tons of CO2 per year. Adverio has completed the EPCM works for ASTARTA and has commissioned the plant.
