The first Anaerobic Digestion (AD) facility in Hebron has been successfully delivered and is now fully operational. The facility produces 350 kW of electricity from processing 50 ton/day of cattle manure and organic waste, 365 days a year, from the adjacent cattle farm. The electricity is provided to local communities through the grid and directly to the neighbouring cattle farm.

Adverio was responsible for all project management, design and construction management. The project is an initiative of Agropal Investment Company together with Oosterhof Holman Milieutechniek BV and Adverio BV. It is funded by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs) together with the project partners and in cooperation with the Palestinian Authorities. The works were executed under the Private Sector Investment Program [PSIP12/OT/24) of EVD International.
